During the Team and Individual Cross Country competition at the FEI Eventing World Championship in Aachen on 15/08/2026, Paolo Torlonia (ITA) sensed that something was wrong with Zinny just before the final fence and immediately stopped and dismounted as a precaution.

Zinny showed an irregularity in her movement and was examined immediately by a veterinarian in the finish area. She was able to walk to the veterinary clinic for further examinations and will also be assessed by specialists this afternoon.

The FEI is closely monitoring the situation in cooperation with the veterinary team and will provide any further relevant information as it becomes available
